Rapsody in fall
This is my favorite painting of fall. I've often thought that when I die I'll enter heaven through this doorway. The painting hung in my grandma's house when I was a kid. Somehow I got it when she passed away.

This area of the Catskills is probably the most beautiful sight in the country between Sept. and Nov. The traffic of "Leaf lookers" is incredible during that time of the year. I've been all over the country and I've never seen anything as beautiful as right here where I live.
Too bad the taxes in this state suck so bad.

beautiful...i am so ready for fall, i love that time of year when everything is changing colors. it's also the time of year that makes me think...what if? but i love it anyway.
thanks for keepin the prayers going for the coast. they still need lots of em and with Rita, we're getting tornado warnings all over. watched two go over last night from my deck....just awesome.

it's absolutely stunningly beautiful! I would love that doorway. To sit, write and reflect at. Wow, I can almost feel the crisp breeze possibly blowing through carrying the scent of apples.
