Another one bites the dust!
Jeepers! Another wind storm today took down part of my apple tree. I'm glad it was just a smaller limb. That tree has been here for almost 80 years. I'll have to get busy and trim it right this time,,,, Just as soon as I clean up that maple.

That is one huge @$$ tree!!! Lucky it didn't hit your house or pool. You guys get hit hard over there huh?
Snav: Yea, thanks. I feel bad. That tree has been here forever. What kills me the most is that it produced more and larger apples than in previous years. I've done quite a bit of work on this property and my fruit is blooming like crazy this yr. My raspberries are still producing at this time of year. My blueberries were bigger than ever before and I've got more pears on the ground than I can clean up.
Deb: For sure! We have quite a lot of wind that blows in from the north side of the property. Too bad about the tree. I spent about 3 hrs cleaning most of it up today and noticed the whole inside up to the top is hollow which doesn't make it too stable for the future. I feel bad about it but I'm going to have to cut the whole thing down. I can't take a chance on losing pool or deck over it. I can't win!
