My computer is in my other kitchen

Well... Not a good pic but it's where you can find me most hours in the evening. The computer is in the "daycare" kitchen. I have 3 kitchens in this house. The main kitchen is on the other side of my house, this one was built for a daycare my wife used to run, and MY kitchen in downstairs. That's the one I use for catering, complete with a commercial stove, 4 refrigerators, one freezer, dish and pot washing sinks and 3 storage cabinets. I've done weddings and parties for up to 175 people out of that kitchen.

(Anyone need a caterer?)

Rapsody in fall

Rapsody in fall

This is my favorite painting of fall. I've often thought that when I die I'll enter heaven through this doorway. The painting hung in my grandma's house when I was a kid. Somehow I got it when she passed away.
Snav, this is the painting I was talking about.
This area of the Catskills is probably the most beautiful sight in the country between Sept. and Nov. The traffic of "Leaf lookers" is incredible during that time of the year. I've been all over the country and I've never seen anything as beautiful as right here where I live.
Too bad the taxes in this state suck so bad.

Everybody OK??????

How is everyone tonight??
Good. I'm glad to hear you're doing alright.
And if you live in the Gulf, I hope the hell you're safe! Nasty fuckin year you guys have been having! I wish all of you strength and wellness. My prayers are with you all.

Well.... I just got home from another weekend at the Haunted Hayride. It was a blast. It IS a long night however but the scares are worth it. Dam! if my luck isn't the worst! I came back out of the trail from scaring a group and a guy was coming out from behind the bridge where I keep my backpack and I saw him just finishing zipping up his pants. I asked him if he just pissed on my corn and he said he went off the trail into the corn field and took a wizz. I politely told him he should have waited till the end of the trail and use the porta-potty they have out there. He apologized and went on his way. At the end of the night I went to get my stuff and I'll be damned if it wasn't wet!!!! That foul motherfucker pissed all over my backpack! Son of a Bitch!!! Guess I won't be leaving it there again!
Besides that we had a busy night. Probably had about 800 or 900 people come through. It's early in the season yet. By the end of the month we get about 2 thousand a night. The closer it gets to Halloween, the busier it gets. Kinda hard to get reservations but we're full most nights in October.
I sure hope everyone that's in earshot of me can make it out.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

My new buddy

Oh yea! That's my new best friend in the background. The son of a bitch stands about 15 ft tall and has some wicked sound effects. He's rigged with hydraulics and moves all over the place, beating his spear against that body he's holding. The poor guy's legs move and the bottom half of it has been devoured and his guts are hanging out. I hit the switch and he slowly stands up growling the whole way. It's pretty gruesome but effective. I wish you were there to see the look on those helpless kids as they screamed the rest of the way out of the maze. And I'm even at the end of the maze. They have to endure about a half hr walk and about 30 other ghouls and props through the rest of the corn before they reach me.
OH MAN! It's SO much fun!

Word veri? or not to word veri?

Dammit! I guess I'm not a virgin anymore! I got my first spam comment tonight. It's really a shame that even on here ya have to worry about assholes dropping their shit in your lap. I'm not sure if I want to add word verification or not so I guess I won't. If this shit keeps up I might though.
I haven't posted anything new lately because I have nothing new to add in my life. I live a very boring life. Get up,, go to work,,Come home, shower, change,, go to another job. It gets pretty old after a while. I didn't even take a vacation this yr. Well... I took off last week to cater my brothers wedding but it was a whole week of working. I did the whole thing myself for 160 people. I only had a friend help the day of the wedding. It actually came out very nice.
I start my other,(third) job tomorrow night at the Haunted Hayride. If you didn't read previously, it's quite a lot of fun. I don't get paid much at all but it's about the only time I really get to have a blast. It's a trip watching guys twice my size hit the ground and cower like little girls. I work with my brother and we always have a great time scaring the shit out of people. It's not a mean thing, it's just acting. That's what people come there for. We have tour buses come in. Sometimes 8 or 9 a night. Groups of 30 or 40 people at a time. It's really a great time. Check it out at;

It's quite a show.
Sooooooo...... That's about all I have to report on. I'm gonna try to get some pictures and post them but I have to ask permission first. Copyright infringments and all to worry about. I'll let ya know how it goes.

My baby brother ties the knot

Rogers Wedding 014

Well,,,
My little brother finally said "I do" to his lovely wife Heather on a mountain top in the beautiful Catskills. This was probably the nicest ceremonies I've ever had the pleasure of attending. The view was spectacular, the weather was perfect and, of course,
I catered it.
My twin brother sang at the ceremony, my older brother read a passage and our neighbor let his doves fly at the moment they kissed. It was absolutely fabulous.

On June 13 of this year the law was revised and made law.
